The Sisterhood Challenge

Morning all, Hope your all having a wonderful day.. Well here it is Wednesday already and time ones again for another Challenge over at the SISTERHOOD. Our very sweet Lisa has set our theme this week.

JAPAN

The first thing I thought of when I thought Japan was Geisha girls..

So on my first card I have used Geisha Anya from the greeting farm. I have colored her with prisma pencils. Added some prima flowers, mini roses, spellbinder, MS punch, glitter dew drops, and Black swirl pearls.On this one I have colored May Lee from Whimsie Doodles. She is a digi stamp. Added some lace, rhinestones, silk flowers, and a flourish Chipboard swirl.Well I do so hope you will come join us this week, We would really love to see what you come up with..Please be sure to hop on over and check out the other sisters creations..

The Sisterhood Challenge (Germany)

Morning all, well its time again for another Sisterhood challenge. Our sweet and talented Micki is our hostess this week.. And she has decided that we are heading to Germany.. Now when I first thought of Germany I thought of beer, chocolate, castles, and the colors of the flag Black, Red, and Yellow..I ended up doing two cards for this challenge as I was not to happy with this first one.. I went with the flag colors and tried to incorporate a castle.. Its funny how you get something in your head and then when you put it on paper it doesn't come out at all like you thought it would..

The Sisterhood Challenge

Morning all, Well here it is Wednesday already, And time again for another Challenge over at the Sisterhood. This week our Challenge is FAMILY/FAITH - REMEMBRANCE And our very talented Boni is our hostess. She has ask us to create something such as a sympathy card, scrapbook page,remember when, or just one of your favorite memories..Since today is my mothers birthday I thought I would do a scrapbook page in honor of her.

When I look back upon my life,no matter when or where, at every age and step and stage, my mom was always there..

She made me feel so safe, so loved, her kindness meant so much, I still can hear her words of cheer and feel her gentle touch..

And still today I'm glad to say I feel her loving care in the deepest parts of my grateful heart..My mom is always near..
